London Road Methodist Church is a Victorian Church built in 1854. The Church hall was built in 1979. The Church was recently refurbished including glass main doors, new large entrance hall. Chairs have replaced pews and the effect is seen in an increasing and welcoming congregation. The church has an up to date and active Sunday School known as “The Zone” and also 2 groups for teenagers. It has a growing congregation of families and young people and is working towards being “Family Friendly”. It is an increasingly popular setting for weddings.
